Celebrate every festival with this rich, melt-in-the-mouth Halwai Style Mohanthal! ✨ Made with roasted besan, ghee, saffron, and dry fruits, this traditional Gujarati sweet is perfect for Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, Janmashtami, or any special occasion. 📝 Ingredients: 2 cups besan (gram flour) ½ cup ghee 1 cup milk 1½ cups sugar ¾ cup water ½ tsp cardamom powder A few saffron strands soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk 2 tbsp chopped almonds 2 tbsp chopped pistachios Edible rose petals (optional) 👨‍🍳 Method: Roast besan with ghee on low flame until golden and aromatic. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously and cook until the mixture becomes grainy. In another pan, prepare a one-string sugar syrup using sugar and water. Add cardamom powder and saffron milk. Pour the syrup into the roasted besan and mix well until smooth. Fold in chopped almonds and pistachios. Transfer the mixture to a greased tray and spread evenly. Garnish with more dry fruits, saffron strands, and rose petals.
