Thank you for your support! ⌚Timestamps: 0:00 How to Cook a Chuck Roast so Tender and Juicy That it Tastes Like a Ribeye Steak 0:10 Angus Chuck Roast 1:45 Truss and Season the Chuck Roast Steak 5:19 Bag the Chuck Roast 8:05 Instant Pot Sous Vide Settings 9:11 Instant Pot is Done Cooking 11:36 Start Searing the Chuck Roast Steak 17:00 Make the Au Jus 18:48 Taste Test the Tender Juicy Chuck Roast Steak ⬇️⬇️ RECIPE INGREDIENTS ⬇️⬇️ • 1 3-4 lb. 2-3 inch Thick Chuck Roast or Steak • 1 Plastic Ziploc Bag • Oil for the Pan • Butter to Baste the Steak • Salt to taste • Black Pepper to taste • Rosemary to taste • Garlic Powder to taste • Onion Powder to taste • Smoked Paprika (optional) ⬇️⬇️ MAKE an Au Jus ⬇️⬇️ • 1/4 Cup of Dry Red Wine - Drinking Wine not Cooking Wine • 3/4 Cup of Beef Stock or the Juices from the Sous Vide process • 1/4 TSP of Salt • 1/4 TSP of Black Pepper • 1/4 TSP of Onion Powder • 1/4 TSP of Garlic Powder • Smoked Paprika to taste (optional) • 1/4 TSP of Thyme or Rosemary (Optional) 👉Cooking Instructions: • Pat your roast or thick chuck steak dry with paper towels, add coarse salt, rosemary, and whatever seasonings you want, put the roast or steak in a plastic bag, remove all the air from the bag, fill the Instant Pot 1/2 to 3/4 full with water, and submerge the bag under water. Set your Instant Pot to sous vide for 24 hours. Medium-rare: 130°F to 134°F. When done, remove from the bag, pat dry, and sear the steak on all sides in an oiled cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, basted with butter. When done, remove the chuck steak and place it on a cutting board and let it rest. While the seared chuck steak is resting, make a delicious au jus from the drippings in the pan and serve it with the chuck steak.
