Editor's note
One-pan lasagne with minimal cleanup appeal. The hybrid concept of combining plating and serving directly from the pan—merging "visual appeal × speed"—is trending on social media as cosy season approaches. The minimalist prep approach could potentially be adapted to streamline commercial kitchen operations and service efficiency.

Save this one pan lasagne recipe 😍 cannot believe how easy it is and hardly any clean up afterwards! 🙌🏼 cosy season is coming! Ingredients: 1 tbsp olive oil 1 onion, finely diced 2 tsp minced garlic 500g lean beef mince 750g Mutti pasta sauce 475ml chicken stock, plus extra if needed 120g ricotta cheese Salt and pepper, to taste Italian herbs, to taste 170g lasagne sheets 120g grated mozzarella Fresh basil and Parmesan, to serve Method: Method: 1. Heat the olive oil in a large, deep frying pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until it starts to soften. 2. Add the garlic, season with salt and pepper and cook for another couple of minutes. 3. Turn the heat up and add the beef mince. Break it up as it cooks and fry for around 5 minutes until nicely browned. 4. Stir in the Mutti pasta sauce, chicken stock, ricotta and Italian herbs. Season again if needed and let everything simmer together for about 5 minutes. 5. Break the lasagne sheets into smaller pieces and add them straight into the pan. Use tongs to gently push the pasta down into the sauce, spreading the pieces around as evenly as you can. It does not need to be perfect. 6. Put the lid on, turn the heat right down and cook according to the instructions on your lasagne packet. Mine took around 20 minutes. Check it occasionally to make sure nothing is sticking and add a splash more stock if the sauce starts to get too thick. 7. Once the pasta is tender, test it with a fork. It should be soft and easy to pierce. 8. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top, cover the pan again and leave for a few minutes until the cheese has melted. If your pan is oven safe, you can instead place it under the grill for around 5 minutes until golden and bubbling. 9. Finish with fresh basil and Parmesan and serve straight from the pan. • Recipe adapted slightly from @noaawilliams as I didn't have any cottage cheese but will be making again with it to see the difference! #easyrecipe #onepotmeal #easymeals #quickdinner #easydinnerideas
