Editor's note

The unexpected pairing of bitter chrysanthemum greens (washoku staple) with Western cheese, combined with the minimal-ingredient simplicity (2-4 items), is driving virality. The bitterness's ability to enhance alcohol is a savvy take on what makes a great snack, and it resonates with busy parents seeking easy yet impressive home bar fare.
